Guide
Hank was on the bottom of meta for a while. At first there wasn't the best build, because on the release he was OP with any Gadget and Starpower. But now, he may be not the best, but in top 3 best brawlers. Let me explain this real quick:Gadget: Barricade.
Shields are good right? Then you should understand me. First Gadget is very situational unlike this one. When a tank recieves less damage it makes him great.Starpower: It's Gonna Blow.
Yeah, many people would say that second Starpower is better because I've said that "shields are good". However, Hank can't always be played near walls, and it makes 2nd Starpower automatically useless and F tier (Pick it only on closed maps) (I still don't recommend doing so). But speeding up is great for Hank because he has no alternatives to do so. Yeah, his speed is also his weakness at the same time. +10% for speed is still better.Gear 1 & 2: Heal and Damage.
Damage is always good for tanks. Hank has 11k HP, why bother if he has less than 50% of it? In exchange you get +15% damage (4200 > 4830).
Heal is necessary for Hank, because he doesn't do so when charging an attack. Yeah, you have to wait few seconds before you automatically heal.Hypercharge: Homing Fish-iles
Irreplaceable and only Hypercharge. Is the best Hypercharge according to AshBs. What is there even to say? Now Hank's Super isn't hard to aim with - because you literally don't have to! Fish torpedoes now home in on targets. Yeah, as you may have already understand - you should use it in open field. Closed maps and modes like Hotzone, Bounty and Heist make Hypercharge pretty much useless (They don't have overtime mode and are usually pretty closed).Build itself is pretty simple and makes Hank a living massacre machine.
Game Modes

Brawl Ball
What do I even need to say? Hank in BrawlBall is literally dope, especially in overtime. You will surely be always prawn ready.

Hot Zone
Hank is great controller for HotZone, let's all accept it. His Hypercharge sometimes can be useless, but that doesn't change anything.

Gem Grab
A mode for Hank with Hypercharge (literally). GemGrab contains surely a few maps that are semi-opened. And semi-opened maps are perfect for Hank. Hyper will literally save your team.

Showdown
Hank can preform well in the splashy Showdown - in Solo, Duo and even Trio. He's pretty great in attacking with power cubes! Make sure to watch after your back too - who knows, what can happen...
Works Well With

Tara
Make sure Tara has Super. She pulls enemies into it and you surprise them with your attack. Simple!

Hank
Yeah. Hank + Hank is a win-win. The pros are big damage and teamwork, cons are... No, more like CON is that your lobby teammate can't pick Hank if you already did, cause it's forbidden for a few people to pick one brawler.
